REVIEW: SECRET WARRIORS #2 SE
This issue opens up at New Attilan the Inhumans headquarters, housing what is left of the Inhumans. As they look out over they’re headquarters two shield quin-jets swoop in touching down in the middle of the Inhumans compound. Hydra soldiers begin to file out of the two quin-jets along with a general of Hydra Mister Hyde. Iso shows up to negotiate with Hydra and at that point all hell breaks loose. The secret Warriors cast of characters consists of Quake, Moongirl and her Devil Dinosaur, Ms Marvel, Inferno, and Karnak. The story suddenly shifts to present day New Jersey which has been turned into an Inhuman prison camp. The Secret Warriors are in search of someone who may be able to take down Hydra and who may be with the X-men.
Will the Secret Warriors be able to locate the X-men and be able to find that person that can supposedly stop Hydra?
The story jumps around a lot, and the cast of characters changes around in the flashbacks, which is understandable, but there is no explanation offered for what is going on. If someone just jumped on board they would be totally clueless as to what was going on. That really is the only thing I have found wrong with this issue.
Besides some of the jumpy parts, Matthew Rosenberg did a great job writing this issue, and making the characters seem real and likable. Rosenberg made the issue funny enough, in certain sections where it needed to be, where I actually laughed out loud a couple of times. It felt like at times I was watching an early episode of Marvels Agents of Shield. I really enjoyed reading this issue.
Javier Garron did a wonderful job with the artwork of this book. I liked the was all the characters looked including the guest stars. His pictures were subtle and not over the top, his display of Inferno’s power was great. So far all the artist Marvel has involved with this Secret Empire Hydra takeover story arc have been phenomenal. The comic artists nowadays are so talented and it seems like the talent pool in the industry is endless. 4 out of 5 stars!

This issue was beautifully drawn and insanely fun to read. Good job Marvel and good job Matthew Rosenberg and Javier Garron. The only reason this issue did not receive 5 stars was the of explanation during the flashbacks and flash forwards. Other than that I am really liking the takeover that Marvel has initiated across its universe.
