FRANKENSTEIN!!! One of few New 52 books worth a crusty turd. Lois is a bad ass in this as she defends a future employer from aforementioned Mr Stein who wants to pulverize AFOREmentioned employer. Superman starts a rumble and everything comes to a satisfying cliffhanger.
It’s really solid, everything rolls along at a well controlled running pace…flying pace? It’s fast. Frankenstein is a bad ass and a worthy match for Superman who one ups his bad ass by actually being Superman. It’s a fun read.
The art is crystal sharp the heroes flex and punches have impact, the storytelling is spot on and it’s suitably iconic for what should be the flagship book for DC.
Superman feels like  icon again, this is a good thing. 4.7/5
