REVIEW: The Adventurers #1
G“Day Crusaders,
Dodgy86 is back in the mix, bringing you The Adventurers by Andrew Tribe published by Bolt Comics.
The scene is set in The Haven, a vast wilderness filled with arrays of tall trees, shrubs and green grass. Here we meet Ellie, a young Dragon with the love of reading and how it helps her go on adventures outside the world she knows. Little did she know, her mother was an adventurer and blended with humans and documented her journeys into a journal.
The time has now come that Ellie will follow in her mother“s footsteps and go on her own adventure and now The Adventurers are born.
Andrew Tribe“s ambition when I spoke to him at Sydney“s Oz Comic Con was he wanted to write a book everyone can read, adults and kids alike. He does a very good at keeping the dialogue clean and the best part challenging especially in life topics, such as a conversation between Ellie and another dragon who questions her on why she reads and validity. The art is very clean and detailed, looks like it would be a great coloring in book!
There looks like more to offer as two more characters on the cover are not introduced yet, you need to read on.
I thoroughly enjoyed this and look forward to reading more, fans of Bone do ya’self a favor and check this out!
