REVIEW: The Adventurers #2

G“Day Crusaders,

This is Dodgy86 in the mix bringing you The Adventurers # 2 by Andrew Tribe (writer and artist). Back up art by Cara k-t Published by Bolt Comics.

It started where issue one left off, Ellie the young adventurous dragon who like her mother also went out into the world among humans. Then caught up by a couple of bandits who wielding a gun intend to rob Ellie until.. out of the mist the bandits are approached by a feral fiend to save Ellie.

Enter the Rocbadger!!

The Rocbadger who had a rough upbringing decides to accompany Ellie on her adventure, can she trust him. They take refuge in an eerie looking house seeking shelter from a heavy storm. What awaits them?

Read it and find out!

This book ends with a short story origin of the two bandits Rob and Hood (say it fast and you get ….?) by S Kennett-Tribe (co-writer and artist).

This book remains true to Andrew Tribe’s vision of keeping this book for all ages. It is still true in this issue. The flow from the last issue was pleasingly fluid as it covered where it left off.

The cliffhanger at the end is a nice conclusion to make you want to pick up the next issue!

A book to enjoy yourself and enjoy with your kids, do ya’self a favor and check it out!
