Don’t judge a book by its cover, or do, your choice…Such a colourful cover. Bright greens and blues. Looking closer you can see monsters in the greens if the trees. The man running could pass for Robin Hood.

A long, long time ago in the last issue…There is no recap. No idea what’s happened so far so straight into this issue and hope we can make some sense of it all.

Now back to your regularly scheduled programming…We start and young man is having an hallucination. He’s been taking some sort of root. Sees a knight on a unicorn and all sorts. They’re hunters and one of their own is taken by monsters. They head back to camp to get help. Karen has been taken by an army with battle ship on wheels. Back at camp a young hay couple Ben and Isaac argue over something, doesn’t take long for them to break up. Ben heads out to help Karen and Isaac sits alone with glowing green eyes as a spirit talks to him. To be continued.
15 issues in and no recap. I was lost. I managed the gist. Monsters, hunters and survivors of something.

It’s all fun and games until someone loses an eye..Nothing of note really happens. No deaths no fighting.

The Good, the Bad and the Meh…
The Good – The characters are very diverse. Gay couple, what looks to be a lesbian couple too and a girl pretending to be a boy, maybe so she can be hunter, not sure on that.
The Bad – It’s hard to follow having not read any previous issues.
The Meh – no action. The whole issues was just them all talking about the most mundane things like straightening an out door projector screen.

I’ll give it a 2 star for the ideas and the artwork. If I’d have read 1-14 I can see the star rating being higher.

Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
