REVIEW: Welcome To Showside #2
Welcome To Showside #2

Let’s judge this book by its cover… Simple cover with bold colours. Not much going on to draw attention to it.
So the town of Showside is home to monsters and demons from other dimensions thanks to Pixel portals. Some are good and some are bad. The bad ones get taken care of by Belle and her friends. Belle is the daughter of a great demon hunter who thinks all demons are evil.
A monster comes through to take one of Belles demon friends back to his own dimension.
This books looks like it SHOULD be fun, it has no funny lines or comedic panels. It feels like it’s more a social commentary on imagination than a funny, child friendly, family book.
I was actually looking forward to this book, I enjoy fun little basic animation titles like this but sadly I was left feeling like I’d just need preached to by the PC brigade.
This one gets a single star and that’s for the art, as full as this book was the art is still cute and I’ll not take out the lack of entertainment from the story on that.

- Hey, I'm Shane.
Been into comics since I was about 5. Loved watching Wonder Woman and superboy in the 80's.
I Started reading seriously about 10 years ago. Began to collect a few comic series, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Batgirl, Teen Titans, Justice League of America and Superman Batman all pre flashpoint. Being honest that was my favourite run.
