REVIEW: Wonder Woman #47
G’Day Crusaders,
This is Dodgy86 in the Mix bringing you Wonder Woman # 47 by Meredith Finch with art by Miguel Mendonca and Dexter Vines.
Now as the god of war, Wonder Woman begins to learn how to cope with her new role and takes some much deserved time to reflect – thats until trouble arises. What is the Eye of Antiope? Why does the dreaded Cheetah want with such power? Leaving a trail of destruction on the peaceful island Themyscira known as ‘Paradise Island’, now it is up Diana to find her. Can she find her in time?
The story is a stand alone tale, you don’t need other material before reading this issue. The dialogue sets the tone of the story before the action kicks off. The art is beautiful especially with the beautiful scenic view of this island of tranquility, the effects and detail for action scenes look awesome. It is a lot of fun.
For DC fans and especially Wonder Woman, this is worth a look. Do ya’self a favor and check it out!
