Spawn Con Year One Review

Today I step away from the world of toys to talk about a convention I recently attended call Spawn Con. What is Spawn Con? Spawn Con is a celebration of all things Spawn, and it only makes sense that Spawn should have a convention of its own as well. Spawn Con is the brain child of Spawn Hunter( Tyrone Diaz) along with Dyno Morgan if I am not mistaken. Sadly Dyno was unable to attend, but that didnt stop the fun. Even with a snowstorm, The Hilton near the Airport in Denver Colorado hosted the first Spawn Con.

The event was beautiful. It featured many artists, along with many of top name sin the history of Spawn interacting with fans. They included Angel Medina, Steve Oliff, Tom Orzechowski, Chance Wolf, Dan Kemp, Ben Templesmith, Brian Haberlin, Kevin Conrad, Kibar, Dave Kemp, Jonathan Gkapion and Thomas Healy. Fans got the chance to sit in on panels, get items signed, and just meet other Spawn fans. People flew in around the country and had the convention hey always wanted. Hopefully one day down the road the Toddfather will show up, but in the meantime, it was an event to remember. Enjoy the photos below.
