Spoiler Free Review of ‘Ghost Adventures’ Astoria Underground Tunnels Episode

‘Ghost Adventures’ is quite the show. I was introduced to it via my girlfriend about seven years ago, and it’s really the only haunted investigation show I have ever enjoyed.  Zach Bagans and his crew make an entertaining, yet informative show about the paranormal that is worth checking out. Now before I go any further, I do want to stress I do believe in the world of the paranormal, but never have had an encounter of any sorts. So it’s quite interesting from my perspective at least, when it comes to a program such as this. With that being said, lets dive into the ‘graveyard of the Pacific’ and talk about the first of many in the ‘Ghostober’ lineup!

Graveyard of the Pacific

Part one of the ‘Graveyard of the Pacific’ series takes the Ghost Adventures crew to the beautiful state of Oregon, but not is at all what it seems in the town of Astoria. Buried and forgotten underneath the new city(the old city caught fire and is the foundation for the new town) exists the Shanghai tunnels of Astoria. It’s in these tunnels that the Ghost Adventures team investigates mysterious events. This episode has a lot of cool moments going on it. One of the aspects of the show that works so well has always been the build up to the actual investigation. It’s always a fun ride, but in t his episode it really does an amazing job of really building up the unexplained that is going on in this town. To the tunnels themselves and in the butcher shop, you feel a sense of dread and curiosity.

Wait till you see what the team is smiling about during this Ghostober event

This episode lays the ground work for what this team of Paranormal researchers is going to encounter. As for the episode itself, it features some of the best investigating and reactions that I have seen in quite some time in the programs history! This is a real wild ride that will either have you looking around your bedroom after the show is over, and at the same time wondering what the team will encounter next. This episode airs this Saturday (10/6/18) night on the Travel Channel. Check your local listings to find out when, because this is must see television, and a great reason to celebrate ‘Ghostober’ this haunting season! 5/5
