Ahead of Comic-Con International San Diego, Comixology Originals and Cosmic Lighthouse announce Salvationâs Child, the debut graphic novel written by multi-award-winning science-fiction and fantasy writer Adrian Tchaikovsky. Salvationâs Child is a prologue to Tchaikovskyâs bestselling and critically-acclaimed The Final Architecture series, Tchaikovsky’s extraordinary space opera about humanity on the brink of extinction that includes the novels Shards of Earth, Eyes of the Void, and Lords of Uncreation. The graphic novel will be the inaugural release of Cosmic Lighthouse, a new company from Anthony Cronin and acclaimed comic and TV writer Paul Cornell. Salvation’s Child will be released in summer 2026 and will be available digitally from Amazonâs Comixology Originals exclusive digital content line.

In Salvation’s Child, the alien Architects have ripped Earth apart and threaten every colony world⌠but can one small child sense their approach?

Salvationâs Child will be illustrated by renowned artist Mike Collins, who has drawn comics featuring Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, Flash, Teen Titans, X-Men and storyboards for TV and film, including Doctor Who, Good Omens, and His Dark Materials. Collins says, “Iâve been a fan of Adrianâs for years, and itâs one of the biggest thrills of my life to bring to life his story in my art. From jaw dropping cosmic battles, to heartbreaking personal scenes, I think Iâm creating some of the best pages of my whole career.” Collins continued, “This is a very special, dynamic story with an epic sweep and a genuine soul. The stakes for humanity are expressed so well, Iâm upping my game to try to match them in my storytelling.”
Salvationâs Child will feature colors by Pippa Bowland, letters by Simon Bowland, a cover by Steve Stone and is edited by Cosmic Lighthouse Editor-in-Chief Paul Cornell (Doctor Who, Saucer Country, I Walk With Monsters).
