Shame on Us! Skybound & Zach M. Stafford Announce The Book of Shame: An Extra Fabulous Experience Kickstarter

Skybound announced the campaign for the Kickstarter-exclusive The Book of Shame: An Extra Fabulous Experience, which will collect over 150 of the best of Zach M. Stafford’s irreverent humor webcomic series Extra Fabulous in print for the first time. Fans can sign up for the mailing list of shame now to receive all campaign details and updates ahead of its launch on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 6 a.m. PT.

Presenting commentary on themes such as life, death, and the daily millennial existential crisis of mere existence through absurd relatable humor combined with honest emotion, The Book of Shame includes 24 book-exclusive comics from Stafford, creator of Extra Fabulous, Deogie and Pervis comics.

Fans will also have access to a second special Kickstarter-exclusive hardcover book called It’s Pervis Time! featuring the character Pervis.

While the campaign will highlight the all-new Book of Shame and It’s Pervis Time!, this is an Extra Fabulous Experience, where backers will also be granted access to Stafford’s previous books Good Comics for Bad People and the Kickstarter-exclusive book Deogie. The campaign will also feature rewards and other stretch goals to be announced.

Previous Skybound campaign backers and mailing list members will receive a Kickstarter-exclusive Pervis pin.

The Book of Shame is Stafford’s second Extra Fabulous Experience Kickstarter with Skybound. His first is the fourth most funded webcomics Kickstarter of all time, receiving nearly $475,000 in pledges.

The Extra Fabulous Experience Kickstarter campaigns continue Skybound’s success bringing acclaimed webcomics to print for the first time, from the record-breaking Kickstarter campaigns for Michelle Fus’ Ava’s Demon to J.L. Westover’s Mr. Lovenstein to Mac Smith’s Scurry.
