Skybound, Image & Hasbro Celebrate Energon Universe 3rd Anniversary with New Covers

Comic fans… buckle up. This one’s got that Energon-fueled rocket juice running through it.

Skybound and Image Comics, teaming up with the legendary toy and IP powerhouse Hasbro, are throwing a full-on celebration for the third anniversary of the Energon Universe—and they’re doing it the right way: with jaw-dropping connecting variant covers from Skybound-exclusive artist Tom Reilly and color wizard Adriano Lucas dropping this June 2026.

Now if you’ve been riding this cosmic rollercoaster since day one, you already know how this whole beautiful madness started—with the stealth-drop heard around the comic world when Void Rivals #1 hit shelves. That surprise launch from Robert Kirkman and Lorenzo De Felici cracked open the door to something huge… and fans have been eating it up ever since.
