Strap in, because this one ain’t your regular comic-book stroll it’s a full speed dive into a biotech fever dream wrapped in an espionage thriller, cooked up with enough tension to make your spine dance. Amazing Universe just unleashed Cerberus: Cronenberg, and from page one, you already know you’re stepping into something twisted, intelligent, and absolutely addictive.
Meet Wash, Trip, and Lincthree brothers linked tighter than Wi-Fi in a NASA lab, rocking that telepathic bond like it’s second nature. Together, they’re Cerberus, a one-of-a-kind strike team who move like one mind split into three bodies. Their mission sounds like lightweight work: slip into a secluded high-tech farm deep in the Iowa Corn Belt and snag a dangerous piece of biotech called the Cronenberg. Easy bag-and-tag, right?
Nah. The moment they step inside, this place starts fighting back like it’s alive and honestly, it kinda is. We’re talking walls that heal themselves like fresh meat, hallways that shift and pulse like they’ve got a heartbeat, and defense spheres floating around that don’t shoot lasers… they explode into cyst-inducing nightmares. This ain’t securityit’s surgery waiting to happen.
And Cerberus? They gotta move with finesse. At one point, the brothers pull off a whole telepathic dance routine just to outsmart the floating bio-spheres trying to ruin their day. Slick, stressful, and stylish all at once. You feel every second of the danger, and you root for every micro move they make.
That electric storytelling? That’s Martin Renard doing laps around lesser writers. His dialogue snaps with personality and his plotting comes in hottight, bold, smart, and cinematic as hell. And Aldin Viray? The man turned body horror into fine art. His biomechanical designs drip with atmosphere, slick with tension, bending sci-fi and gore into something that makes you stare longer than you probably should. Every panel hits like a shockwave alive, dangerous, and beautifully deranged.
If you grew up on the brainy chaos of ‘80s sci-fi flicks or devoured comics like Warren Ellis’s Planetary or anything from Hickman’s conspiracy-laced era of S.H.I.E.L.D., this book is basically your personal dessert menu. It’s got the spy action, the smart worldbuilding, the fear, the finesse, all baked into one relentless ride.
Cerberus: Cronenberg isn’t just a comic it’s a whole obsession waiting to happen. Sci-fi fans will eat it up, horror fans will squirm with joy, spy-thriller heads will nod like “yeah, that’s the good stuff.” And everyone else? They’re just gonna be impressed that something this wild exists.
So stop playing. Go get your copy. Step into the biotech nightmare. Face the Cronenberg. Run with Cerberus. And remember this story gets under your skin in the best, freakiest way possible.
