Wise Acre Comics, a trailblazing independent publisher, is thrilled to announce the start of the Kickstarter campaign for Volume 1 of the first action manga series in the House of Wise lineup, Hybrid Theory.

In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by mysterious otherworldly Demons, the surviving humans have united under the banner of the Pandora Alliance and its powerful Army. By wielding incredible weapons made of Red Krystal, the front line fighters known as “Hunters” have dedicated their lives to protecting humanity and eliminating the Demon threat once and for all.

Hybrid Theory follows the story of a rookie Hunter, Daniel Nexus. Unlike his peers, he has no need for a Krystal weapon to fight: he is actually a Hybrid, a human with Demon abilities, including heightened senses, strength, agility, and the power to morph his limbs into a stronger monstrous form.

But no Hybrid in history has ever demonstrated such control over their abilities without losing their sanity and human identity. What is the secret behind Daniel’s unique nature? It’s a mystery even for the young Hunter himself, as he has no memory of his past life before joining the Army.

With the help of his friends, Daniel fights for humanity’s survival while also searching for clues about his past along the way.
