VAULT ANNOUNCES PANEL FOR POST MALONE’S BIG RIG AT NEW YORK COMIC CON 2025
Vault has announced they will host a star-studded panel for Post Malone’s Big Rig at New York Comic Con 2025. Joining the panel will be Vault Editor-in-Chief and Big Rig co-writer Adrian Wassel, series artist Nathan Gooden, Vault Publisher & CEO Damian Wassel, and some extremely special guests. The Big Rig panel will be moderated by Coy Jandreau.
The panel will take place on Friday October 10th from 5:00pm to 6:00pm inside the Javitz Center in room 405 and will focus on the past, present, and future of all things Big Rig, from inside the comic to its adaptations beyond.
Vault will have limited quantities of special deluxe hardcover editions of Post Malones’ Big Rig for sale at the site, as well as some very rare Big Rig #1 convention exclusive single issue variants by legendary artists Peach Momoko and Pete Carroll.
An original story created by the 9x diamond recording artist, Big Rig is written by Post Malone and Adrian Wassel, drawn by Nathan Gooden (Barbaric, Brandon Sanderson’s Dark One, Dark Knights of Steel), colored by Eisner-nominee Der-shing Helmer, lettered by Jim Campbell, & designed by Tim Daniel.
Big Rig is Evil Dead meets Mad Max: Fury Road in this story set in medieval Europe, where the only thing standing in the way of the horde of demons infesting the continent is a mysterious armored 18-wheeler seemingly sent from the heavens.
Working closely with Post Malone, Vault launched the story as a limited single issue comic book series, with direct-to-consumer editions of the graphic novel available for pre-order beginning in May, and shipping in October, and a retail release in early 2026. The single issue series launched to massive success, selling over a hundred thousand copies in the comic book market alone. Meanwhile, Post Malone, Platinum Dunes, and Vault will concurrently develop a feature film adaptation of the story.
The full synopsis for Post Malone’s Big Rig can be read below:
THEY PRAYED FOR A MIRACLE. THEY GOT 25 TONS AND 18 WHEELS OF HOLY WEAPON.
BIG RIG, created by Post Malone.
The Dark Ages…Demon hordes plague Europe as Hell invades Earth. The Six Petals, a secret sect of The Knights Templar, are in desperate need of a means to drive back the scourge and turn the tide of the onslaught. What crashes to earth is The Rig, a fully loaded tractor trailer. In the aftermath of its arrival, the only man left standing is an enigmatic former priest excommunicated from The Six Petals. He will become Trucker and lead the fight against Hell behind the wheel of a demon-slaying machine.
Written by Post Malone and Adrian Wassel. Drawn by Barbaric co-creator and Dark Knights of Steel artist Nathan Gooden.
ABOUT POST MALONE
A 9x diamond-certified GRAMMY® Award-nominated phenomenon, Dallas, TX artist Post Malone regularly rewrites history, blurs boundaries, and incites internet-breaking conversation with every move. Emerging in 2015 with a genre-less brew that inspired a movement, he delivered the diamond-selling “Congratulations” [feat. Quavo], achieved back-to-back #1 debuts on the Billboard Top 200, received countless multi-Platinum certifications around the world, and smashed one record after another with his Hot 100-topping hits. As the writer or co-writer of all of his songs, Post Malone is one of our generation’s literary geniuses.
Most recently, Post released his debut country album, F-1 Trillion which landed at #1 on the Billboard 200 chart.Ahead of the album, Post released “Guy For That” featuring Luke Combs, “Pour Me A Drink” featuring Blake Shelton and mega-smash “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen. Upon release of “I Had Some Help” it landed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, tallying “the highest weekly sales and streams since 2020” andremained at #1 for six consecutive weeks. The critically acclaimed F-1 Trillion, and collaborations with Beyoncé and Taylor Swift, earned Post 8 2025 GRAMMY® nominations. Post headlined Coachella in the spring before hitting the road on his record-breaking “Big Ass Stadium” tour, following his record-breaking F-1 Trillion Tour last fall.
In 2023, he released his fifth album AUSTIN. That same year, he garnered a “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” GRAMMY® Award nomination for “I Like You (A Happier Song)” [with Doja Cat], marking his tenth career nomination in six years. In 2022, Post released his fourth album, Twelve Carat Toothache, which marked his fourth consecutive Top 5 bow on the Top 200. He even scored “the highest-certified single in RIAA history” with “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” [feat. Swae Lee] reaching 20x platinum, or double diamond, in the United States. This makes it the first song to ever achieve this status, netting the biggest single of his generation.
In 2019, his third full-length album, Hollywood’s Bleeding, arrived at platinum status and eventually went triple platinum. It reigned at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 for four weeks. Hollywood’s Bleeding followed the immense success of the triple-Platinum beerbongs & bentleys, which also landed at #1 a year prior. In the wake of beerbongs & bentleys, Post crushed a record in place for 54 years. He charted nine songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100, notching “the most songs in the Top 20 of the Hot 100 ever.” Moreover, he also trounced the record for most simultaneous Top 40 Hot 100 hits with 14.
Post’s catalog comprises the GRAMMY® Award-nominated “rockstar” [feat. 21 Savage” (Diamond), “Sunflower (Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse)” [feat. Swae Lee] (2x Diamond), “I Fall Apart” (Diamond), “Psycho” [feat. Ty Dolla $ign] (Diamond), “White Iverson” (Diamond), “Better Now” (Diamond), and more. It all started with his quintuple-platinum influential 2016 debut, Stoney. With records under his belt that will likely never be surpassed and a generation of artists and audiences worldwide under his spell, Post Malone simply doesn’t stop.

ABOUT PLATINUM DUNES
Producers Michael Bay and Brad Fuller are behind some of today’s most successful genre films. In 2001 they formed the production company Platinum Dunes; their films have since grossed more than $2.7 billion at the worldwide box office.
In 2018, Platinum Dunes produced the hugely successful horror film A Quiet Place, starring John Krasinski and Emily Blunt. On a budget of only $17 million, the film grossed $341 million globally, and was named one of the top movies of 2018 by the National Board of Review. A Quiet Place: Part II was released theatrically on May 28, 2021, and became the first major blockbuster since the start of the COVID pandemic, grossing $297 million worldwide. A Quiet Place won the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Horror Movie in 2019, followed by A Quiet Place: Part II earning the same honor in 2022.
Platinum Dunes has also produced the highly successful Purge franchise. With five installments to date, the franchise has amassed receipts of more than $534 million worldwide against a combined filmmaking budget of $53 million. Additionally, Platinum Dunes has produced several highly popular television series, including the recently completed Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan, which is available on Amazon. The series ran for four seasons and is Amazon’s highest-rated scripted show. Previously, Platinum Dunes produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which grossed over $493 million worldwide and became the highest grossing film of the TMNT franchise. In addition, Ouija, which was made for only $5 million, brought in more than $103 million at the global box office. The Platinum Dunes team also produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016); A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010); Friday the 13th (2009); The Amityville Horror (2005) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003); as well as four seasons of the popular Starz television series Black Sails and five seasons of TNT’s hit show, The Last Ship.
Platinum Dunes has an established track record of revamping and creating successful franchises, as well as producing cost-friendly original films that do extremely well at the box office. In keeping with this trend, some upcoming feature projects include established IP such as A Quiet Place: Day One; the upcoming A Quiet Place: Part III; along with original new IP such as Shredded, produced in tandem with Screen Gems.
Bay Films is also known for its lucrative projects with several record-breaking openings over the last 25 years. Among those titles are Ambulance, 6 Underground, the Transformers franchise, 13 Hours, Pain and Gain, Pearl Harbor, Armageddon, The Rock, and Bad Boys I and II. Between the two companies, Bay’s box office encompasses over $10.3 billion in ticket sales alone, not taking into account equally impressive figures earned in a range of ancillary markets. He is currently the 5th highest grossing director of all time.
