Visionary Launches as Publisher with The Knight – A “Batman Meets The Wire” Thriller on Kickstarter!

Visionary is proud to announce our move into independent comic publishing, launching our first project on the popular crowdfunding platform Kickstarter! From the creative talents of creator/writer C. Edward Sellner, artist Mario Torrisi, color artist Paul Little, and graphic artist Jacob Bascle comes the first epic comic series in the Visionary Creation shared setting!

The Knight is a tale of redemption set against a brutal crime syndicate waging a war with children on the streets of Washington, DC. But who is the Knight? Is he the rogue government agent, Kincaid? The disillusioned priest, Fr. William Bennett? Or the frustrated police detective, Miguel Jimenez?

The cast of suspects is drawn together when a down-and-out drug dealer, David Michaels, crosses a line with the Syndicate, an international crime cartel, and his new boss, the terrifying Charon. Left beaten, tortured, and naked in an alley, Michaels is forced to disappear from the streets where he’s earned his living.

The series is a true blending of superhero and crime comics, with down-to-earth real social conflict and issues, a very human hero, and a larger-than-life villain with his own secrets.
