WE WHO REMAIN #1 by Osy Ikhile Drops This Wednesday on GlobalComix
British Actor Osy Ikhile Unleashes a Powerful New Comic Where Trauma, Magic, and Technology Collide
Alright Comic Crusaders… lock in. Because this Wednesday? We’re not just getting a new comic. We’re stepping into a full-blown mythic collision.
Shadow Crown Comics is officially unleashing WE WHO REMAIN the debut series from British actor, producer, and filmmaker Osy Ikhile (Black Mirror, All American). Yeah. That Osy. From screen to page, and he’s not playing small. And he didn’t come alone. The world is brought to life by artist and letterer Mark Marvida (The Crying Boy, Pocus Hocus) and colorist Marvin Marvida (Spectrum), and together they build a universe that doesn’t just look cool it breathes, it bleeds, it burns.
This story unfolds in a fractured world split in two: the neon-drenched Corelands, where towering tech empires scrape the sky… and the Hollow Wilds, where ancient spirits whisper in the dark and magic refuses to die. Futurist machines and old-world sorcery share the same ground but trust me, they don’t get along. At the heart of We Who Remain? Six strangers. Broken. Scarred. Haunted. Pulled together by something bigger than themselves. And above them all? Two godlike twin sisters:
Elara – guardian of light.
Dalia – her equal. Her opposite. Her reckoning.
Their clash reshaped the world. And now it’s about to tear it apart. This series blends cyberpunk grit, dark fantasy weight, and mythic scale into a character-driven saga where trauma isn’t just backstory it’s fuel. Every alliance has consequences. Every decision leaves a scar. Power in this world? It never comes free. It demands blood.

Here’s the breakdown:
Across a divided world where neon towers pierce the clouds and the Hollow Wilds pulse with forgotten spirits six wounded souls are drawn together by forces they barely understand. Led by the fading echo of Elara, they fight for humanity’s last breath. But the enemy isn’t a monster. It isn’t a machine. It’s Dalia. Sister. Equal. Destroyer of balance. As cities fall and the earth trembles, this group must confront not just a collapsing world but the ghosts inside themselves. Their journey takes them through the wreckage of civilization, into corrupted metal citadels, through blood-soaked arenas, toward a final confrontation between two beings who were once one. When the light fades… does the world die? Or does it awaken?
If you rock with Saga, The Wicked + The Divine, East of West, or Monstress this hits that same nerve of myth, futurism, and emotional intensity. But this one? It’s carving its own lane.
We Who Remain #1 drops Wednesday, March 4, exclusively on GlobalComix.
