2 CHAINZ RELEASES NEW SINGLE & VIDEO “SISTA WIVES” FEATURING LIL YACHTY

Following the release of “Atlanta” featuring Ronald Isley & The Isley Brothers, and his recent BET Award nomination for “Best Group” alongside Larry June and The Alchemist, 2 Chainz drops “Sista Wives” featuring Lil Yachty, the second official single from the upcoming soundtrack to his short film Red Clay. Produced by Budda Bless This Beat, the track is a fast-paced, bass-heavy banger packed into two minutes and thirty seconds of back-to-back bars, flexes, and flagrant confidence. The single is out today via EMPIRE HERE.

Lil Yachty sets the tone early, launching into the track with a chip on his shoulder. “N**s don’t respect me,” he fires off over the menacing beat, brushing off critics while doubling down on his status. His swagger is sharp, layered with wit and ego as he snaps, “Hatin’ on my name just because your friend hit it don’t mean you’re sista wives,” calling out the blurred lines of clout, envy, and relationships with the kind of punch only Yachty can deliver. 2 Chainz enters, effortlessly riding the beat with his signature flair. He drops a film flex, rapping “Foreign car talkin’ to my watch just like Michael Knight,” referencing the iconic Knight Rider while pairing luxury with nostalgia. But beneath the surface, Chainz weaves in a dose of skepticism: “Hard to tell the real from the fake, ’cause ain’t nobody loyal,” he raps, grounding the song’s tone with a side of streetwise realism.

As the track progresses, the chemistry between the two Atlanta rappers intensifies. They trade bars seamlessly, moving in and out of each other’s verses with precision and energy. The record closes with 2 Chainz’s unmistakable sign-off  “Tony!” a reminder that, flashy or gritty, he’s always in control.

The official music video for “Sista Wives” brings the energy of the song to life through stripped-down visuals. Opening in a black and white room, Lil Yachty raps with precision while his silhouette dances in the background. When 2 Chainz takes over, the aesthetic shifts again, this time showing multiple versions of Chainz vibing in the background, while he delivers his verse with cool control. As the video builds, Chainz and Yachty appear together, bouncing lines and energy off each other, with flashes of two women dancing in sync. It’s minimal, stylized, and focused, letting the charisma of the artists drive the frames.

“Sista Wives ft. Lil Yachty” is out now on all major streaming platforms HERE.
