Brink Bionics Presents A Mind-Controlled Mouse
Do you love tech, love Black mirror? Well it seems like we getting into theat type of future as Brink Bionics presents a glove that you wear that allows you to send clicks using your mind!? Mind? Yes! Mind! Peep the video and details below:
Technical Function Description
Impulse is reading muscle signal information (electromyography) from the Dorsal Interossei Muscles in the users hand. When the user tries to move their fingers, these muscles will generate electrical signals before the muscle begins to contract. These electrical signals are recorded by the 4 muscle sensor modules on Impulse. These signals are then quickly processed by our patent-pending super-low-latency algorithms. The Impulse software then sends the same type of “click”“ signals that your mouse sends to your computer. These “muscle clicks”“ are determined by the Impulse software, and are faster than the mechanical switch clicks of the mouse.

These sensors are called myoelectric sensors, and were originally developed to control bionic arm technology.
