Comic Crusaders Updates and Announcements....

It’s been quite awhile and a helluva year thus far, WEPA! 2020 has been one of the most comic-bookish years I have lived through thus far, aliens, violence, animated (crazy) president, disease and more, I wouldn’t be surprised if a Kaiju rose from the sea right about now! I’d be like “It’s 2020, expect the unexpected”.

Although we are missing all the conventions and connecting with people in person, from fans to creators and more, we at CC have tried to do what we can via vidcasts and podcasts via UCPN and even CC, we also did the first EVER CC Virtual Con (amongst the first to do this) and more.Â We’ve added new team members and also have been doing alot more than just comics, hope you all have been enjoying the content. Today however is a very special day as we make 2 announcements regarding the expansion of the team to reach the next level!

Lucas Fashina is now a partner in Comic Crusaders with an interest stake and is the man behind our retail initiative to offer subscription based books from all publishers via our website, the Comic Crusaders Web Store is coming! With that said his official title within CC is the Business Development Officer. He has been with us since 2019 and has been a great value to CC. He is also part of the hottest instagram speculation vidcast (and partners of CC), It’s Drunken Chat, tune in for the chance to get amazing goodies and he is also a co-host on No-Prize Podcast on UCPN!

Johnny Hughes has been a longtime contributor (and a great friend), since 2015, to our website. In his time with us thus far, he has submitted over 1,000 of pieces from reviews to interviews, hence the nickname ‘The Machine”. On top of being a contributor he has been the EIC due to his hard work ethic and brand loyalty but as of today we are very happy to announce that Johnny is now an official partner of Comic Crusaders with an interest stake, he is now the CTO (Chief Talent Officer) of our organization to assist in our continued efforts to find and help grow an amazing stable of contributors as he has done thus far and help them in their success outside of CC as we all grow as one family. He is also on The Definitive Crusade Podcast, No-Prize Podcast as well as host of his own interview podcast on UCPN, Outside the Panels.
