DC Heroes & Villains Festival transforms Six Flags into a fully immersive Gotham City experience this summer
WOW! Entertainment, Warner Bros. Discovery, and Six Flags Bring the DC Universe to Life with Action, Music, and Theatrical Spectacle
This summer, guests at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA and Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ will be swept into the heart of Gotham City as never before, as DC Heroes & Villains Festival brings the world of Gotham City to life in an all-out theatrical adventure. Produced by Six Flags Entertainment Corporation, and Warner Bros. Discovery in partnership with WOW! Entertainment, the festival is a large-scale, fully immersive experience that brings the world of DC Comics to life with Broadway-level production design and the pulse of a live concert.
Set across a full evening timeline, the festival unfolds as a real-world, interactive story that surrounds guests with live-action moments, stunts, music, comedy, and crowd-powered theatrics. From the triumphant opening of the March of the Heroes to the final stunt centric battle of the Super Hero Smackdown, every moment is scripted and choreographed to a custom-orchestrated original score that elevates the drama, punctuates the chaos, and builds the energy of a superhero cinematic blockbuster—with the audience in the center of the real world event.
Throughout the night, Gotham City erupts with activity. Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman & Robin of the Justice League arrives in heroic fashion, only to have their celebration hijacked by a full-scale villain breakout orchestrated by Lex Luthor and carried out by The Joker, Harley Quinn, and Catwoman. Guests become citizens of Gotham, caught in the middle as villains unleash chaos through live concerts, engaging dance parties, street games, and surprise invasions—each element seamlessly advancing the unfolding story.
The festival blends spectacle with sentiment, thrills with humor, and fan service with original storytelling. The evening builds to an all-out stunt-filled finale—the DC Universe Superhero Smackdown—punctuated by lighting and theatrical effects all designed by the TONY award winning designer, Ken Billington, where iconic characters battle in a dramatic, high-impact showdown.
The event features multiple segments in, brought to life by ith a full cast and crew of actors, stunt professionals, , dancers, technicians, and effects across both coasts. Every performance is an invitation for the audience to participate, cheer, dance, and choose a side— hero or villain.
Created and produced by Dallas-based WOW! Entertainment, the festival is the latest in a series of large-scale, IP-driven productions developed by the company under the leadership of Executive Producer Mark Brymer. Building on the massive success of its 2024 launch at Magic Mountain, this year’s expansion to multiple markets signals WOW!’s growing footprint in the experiential entertainment world.
