DEATH ROW’S JANE HANDCOCK UNVEILS HONEST NEW SINGLE “CAN’T LET GO”
Death Row Records’ First Lady of Music, singer/songwriter Jane Handcock, releases captivating new single “Can’t Let Go” out now via Death Row/gamma. The track captures the emotional tug-of-war between desire and self-control, wrapped in sultry vocals and immersive, late-night production. Listen to the new single HERE.
From the very first line — “I know that this is wrong, creepin’ in the night, just you and I” — Handcock pulls listeners into a confessional loop of temptation, reflection, and emotional surrender. With lyrics like “My morals disappear… it’s been 50-‘leven times since you ran across my mind,” she paints a vivid picture of the intoxicating grip of a love she knows isn’t good for her, but can’t seem to quit. “Can’t Let Go” is as raw as it is relatable, carried by Handcock’s signature blend of vulnerability and strength.
“Can’t Let Go” follows the release of Jane’s single “Stingy”, which entered Billboard’s Adult R&B chart at Number 29, marking her first charting song ever. After working with legends like Raphael Saadiq, Snoop Dogg, Kelly Rowland, and Teddy Riley, earning her both Grammy and Emmy nominations, she’s unapologetically stepping into her own spotlight. Handpicked by Snoop Dogg to carry the legacy of Death Row forward, Jane is embodying the role of Leading Lady with ease.
“Can’t Let Go” is available now on all streaming platforms.
