Commenting on the findings, a spokesperson for wrestling-world.com said: “While it can be argued that many ex-wrestlers have built a strong platform post their wrestling career like in the case of The Rock, the sheer followings on social media for those still currently active shows how good of a reach wrestling has. Additionally, the strong social followings here also provide a pathway for many wrestlers to earn and grow outside of the competition, with brand deals and more.”
