From the underground Brooklyn scene comes Supertaste, an indie-dance duo ready to bring the feeling of a disco right to your home. Supertaste is the collaboration of musicians Hundreds Thousands and Slug Father, who have been working together for more than two years and spinning at some of New York“s hottest nightspots.

Their popularity as a pair birthed Supertaste – with a mission to bring the sound of an ”˜80s walkman to the 21st century and give listeners that warm feeling of stumbling into their favorite bodega after a night of dancing.

Supertaste“s debut EP Breakup Disco was inspired by the music that got the duo through heartbreak, and harnesses the kind of uplifting retro funk that never fails on the dance floor. The EP track “Comedown”“ originally released last week via Kitsuné, the French taste-making label that“s been an early champion of the rising pair.

Both DJs come from burgeoning solo careers, with Hundreds Thousands (Zach Britt) being named an emerging artist by DJ Mag in 2019. Zach has made a splash supporting sonically diverse artists Mija, Break Science, and Papadosio in addition to performing at popular Thailand music festival, Jai Thep this year.

Slug Father (Lucas Feigenbaum) released his single “Think of U” last month which hit No.1 on HypeMachine, and his 2019 track “Every Minute”“ has amassed 300K+ streams across platforms. Feigenbaum has performed at Governors Ball for two consecutive years, as well as supported RJD2 and Zimmer at the Brooklyn Bowl and Bowery Ballroom, respectively.

“We“re bridging the gap between indie, electronic and funk,”“ Feigenbaum said. “I“m this hardcore kid from South Florida, while Zach is a new age hippie from North Carolina, we came together for an electronic disco inspiration sandwich.”“
