Grammy-award-winning producer and artist Mustard surprises fans by dropping another song just days before the release of his highly anticipated new album, Faith of a Mustard Seed. This time, Mustard teamed up with Roddy Ricch and Ella Mai for the track, “One Bad Decision.” This collaboration follows their previous electrifying 7x platinum hit “Ballin’” from Mustard’s Perfect 10 album, released five years ago. Since then, Mustard and Roddy have continued to collaborate on various projects, once again coming together to create another dynamic track.
Ella Mai opens “One Bad Decision” with an emotionally charged delivery, setting the stage for a narrative of heartbreak and betrayal. Roddy Ricch follows with a raw and confessional verse. Their lyrics paint a vivid picture of a tumultuous relationship on the brink of collapse due to infidelity and distrust. The song’s gripping storyline captures the intensity of emotions that arise from love, betrayal, and the dire consequences of one bad decision.
“One Bad Decision” showcases the seamless blend of Ella Mai’s soulful vocals and Roddy Ricch’s gritty rap delivery, all brought together by Mustard’s masterful production. The track’s distinct chord progressions and intricate beats highlight Mustard’s unique approach to music production, setting it apart from his previous work. Mustard’s forthcoming album Faith of a Mustard Seed promises to explore a diverse range of themes and sounds, reflecting his evolution as an artist and his commitment to delivering groundbreaking music. Stay tuned for the album’s release on July 26.

About Mustard:
Multi-platinum and Grammy-winning artist Mustard has achieved a serious milestone as 2024 marks the 10th anniversary of 10 Summers Records and over a decade of success for the South Los Angeles native. A triple-threat, Mustard has mastered several facets of the industry as an accomplished producer, DJ, and artist. Since his 2010 debut, he has reigned as a pioneer of urban sound, serving chart-toppers to some of music’s biggest names, including YG, Tyga, Rihanna, Chris Brown, Jhene Aiko, Roddy Ricch, and more. Through his imprint, 10 Summers Records, Mustard has been able to shine as both an artist and music executive. Possessing a keen eye for discovering talent, Mustard shocked the world by introducing his artist and protégé, Ella Mai. The U.K. songstress’ record-breaking rise to fame included the release of her 2018 RIAA Certified 2x-platinum album, Ella Mai, executive-produced by Mustard, and a 8x platinum lead single, “Boo’d Up.” Mustard has been equally impressive as an artist with his third studio album, Perfect 10, reaching RIAA Certified Platinum. He performed his 7x platinum hit “Pure Water” during the 2019 BET Awards and his 7x platinum single, “Ballin’” featuring Roddy Ricch on Jimmy Fallon, with the latter earning him a Grammy nomination for “Best Rap Song Performance.” Mustard maintains a year-round schedule, complete with a residency at the esteemed Marquee Nightclub in Las Vegas and his very own festival, Summers Fest. His work earned him the coveted DJ of the Year at the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards. Working to build lasting success, Mustard made a significant announcement in 2019 when he inked a Global Publishing Deal through Sony/ATV. In 2020, Mustard was named Producer of the Year in Variety’s Hitmakers issue and received the 2021 ASCAP Pop Music Award for both “Ballin’” and “High Fashion,” both being the most performed ASCAP songs of 2020. Summer 2024 has been monumental for Mustard, who achieved his first No. 1 debut on the Billboard Hot 100 with Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” The track has broken records, garnering over 96 million streams in seven days. Mustard also lit up the stage at Kendrick Lamar’s sold-out Juneteenth concert, “The Pop Out,” bringing out Roddy Rich, Ty Dolla $ign, YG, and more during his set. Dominating the sound of Summer, Mustard released his first single, “Parking Lot,” featuring Travis Scott from his fifth studio album Faith of a Mustard Seed, set to release July 26th. The conceptual album is a testament to Mustard’s growth as an artist and features him as a rapper for the first time on the track “Pray For Me.” There’s no doubt that the West Coast is back on top, and Mustard is at the forefront.
