REVIEW: MAINGEAR FORMA R GAMING CHAIR

This year Maingear has been on FIRE! They have been creating kick ass PC’s (I hope to own one soon BUT have played games on one), they formed a partnership with Microcenter and now they are stepping into the gaming furniture arena with theirÂ FORMA R and the larger FORMA GT gaming chairs! (available in black/red or limited edition white/black). For this review I received the Forma R NERO (BLACK + RED) chair. As you see below the packaging is quite big, weighing in at 66 lbs. The contents within the shipment are neatly and safely packaged.

The instructions provided are very clear and easy to read, you should be able to build this chair in 15 minutes or less. This chair is constructed of Full Steel Frame (built to last) with an Aluminum Alloy Base with ultra-quiet nylon wheels and a Class-4 hydraulic piston. The chair has memory foam filling that has been professionally tested to ensureÂ maximum comfort & even pressure distribution over a very soft leatherette cover. The center of the chair has a smooth water-resistant synthetic suede. One of the things my colleagues first noticed was how wide the seat of chair is, very roomy and comfortable, as opposed to other chairs we’ve used and tried, I agree 100%. Then you also get aÂ Micro fleece breathable memory foam headrest and lumbar pillow that come in perfect with the Full 165 Degree Reclining. I almost fell asleep on this chair more than once! This chair is uber customizable with its 4D Adjustable Soft Armrest, reclining, etc…. This chair is just sexy, with it’s stitching, the look and feel of a top class seat you’d find in a car AND every chair includes a 5 year warranty.

The chair goes forÂ $349.99 (check for holiday deals) but it is worth EVERY penny as Maingear hit it on the head with perfect comfort, adjustability and craftsmanship that make this chairÂ THE Bugatti of gaming chairs! I highly recommend this chair for any gamer or person with home office! (Perfect X-Mas Gift)
