Reviewing 2 Of The Latest Madden 22 Updates

Ever since Madden 22 came out, judgement on how the game fares and how much it has improved since last year’s edition has still been up in the air. For EA Sports, trying to fix all of the wrongdoings and bugs that Madden fans expected to see repaired before the new edition came out became as hard of a task as trying to win big with a perfect selection of NFL picks against the spread in any given week of pro football action. Finally, Some Needed Improvements To The Franchise’s Scouting Mode

Remember last year when everyone came very close to burning down anything and everything Madden 21 to the ground because of how underwhelming and just plain bad their “Franchise mode” was. Between the fans revolting with the always remembered and never forgotten #FixFranchise hashtag and the overall sensations that EA Tiburon had just given up on trying to do right by the fans, it felt like we would never see the light of day when it came to having a respectable and exciting Franchise mode. But hey, after Madden’s long awaited 2.01 update, things are finally starting to look up, especially when it comes to the scouting mode. While before the update many fans were skeptic about what was to come, with many of them not even starting out their franchise season yet, now that the mode has been patched, it’s time to get the ball truly rolling, all while hoping that the game doesn’t fumble the ball here, ha, get it? Fumble, yeah ok, back to talking about the update

The first big move in the update is that EA Tiburon is to extend the tasks performed by players from the team manager’s point of view. With this new update, players can now hire and fire assistant coaches as well as build up a staff of both national and regional scouting experts that can focus on specific positions for the team. Scouts will then have the task to find out as much as possible of any potential player in the hopes of being able to unlock as much of their potential and background info as possible, all while strategizing on which players seemed like the best fits for your team, especially taking into account your team’s position in the draft. After that, is up to the player to find the best ways to groom the potential prospects or get rid of them, all while continuously trying to find the next, big, fictitious but still important football player.

Another big move that Madden 22 is offering players after the update is bringing the scouting and draft process into a more real-life style scope. Just like in real life, each draft class will be submitted to position depth, with some positions having much better prospects than others, like in real life. This will allow players, who are big into the managerial part of the game to truly put their thinking cap on when deciding between what’s best for the team, what they need, or whoever is the best player remaining.

No More Jon Gruden, Ever

Oh man, while at the beginning of the 2021 NFL season everything looked like perfection upon perfection for Jon Gruden and his Las Vegas Raiders, and then everything stopped being that way and boy does falling off the top of the hill hit hard. After having to resign from his post as head coach of the Raiders because of the surfacing of several offensive emails written by him back in 2011, with offensive, racist, anti-gay and misogynistic comments splattered all over, Madden 22 went ahead and following suit like how the Raiders and the NFL did, basically vanished Gruden from the game.

Now, the Las Vegas Raiders, instead of having Gruden as coach will have a generic likeness character on Las Vegas’ sideline in the video game. After posting a statement where EA Sports vouched to stay committed to maintaining a proper culture of equity, respect, and inclusion, Madden 22 producers went ahead to let their fans know that Jon Gruden’s image and anything regarding him would be taken out of the Madden NFL 22 edition in an upcoming title update. At the end of the day, be it in real life or a video game, there’s no room for hate, whatsoever, and if you manage to mess that up, well, just look at how everything went for Gruden.
