Space Yacht’s flagship tech-house artist Ranger Trucco releases debut EP, Tiffany

Out now across all platforms

Global party brand Space Yacht recently pivoted from throwing events to launching its own record label back in October. Now, the label is putting out their second EP, a two-track package titled Tiffany by Ranger Trucco. The first project of this volume for the Los Angeles-based DJ and producer, Ranger Trucco takes the reigns as the label’s flagship tech-house artist.

Hailing from western Michigan, Ranger Trucco dropped out of college after just one year to move to the West Coast and pursue his dreams of becoming a DJ and producer, just like his dad. He sprung fresh onto the scene in 2020 with his blend of original vocals within his melodic, acid, and tech-house tracks — even earning him a feature on this year’s Night Bass Freshmen Compilation.

While flipping burgers at Shake Shack to make ends meet, Ranger Trucco enrolled in the prestigious Icon Collective music school best known for producing major electronic artists such as NGHTMRE, Jauz, and Kayzo. His efforts caught the ear of Space Yacht A&Rs LondonBridge & Hiddenhen when he submitted his track “Tiffany” to their weekly live demo listening show on Twitch, Tune Reactor.

“The first time I heard Tiffany I was struck by the combination of his techhouse production and original raps,” LondonBridge recalls. “We instantly asked to hear more and came to realize that Ranger was creating his own sound that could fit both in the club and on the radio.”

From that one Twitch listening session, Ranger was thrown into the Space Yacht ecosystem, playing on their legendary Tech My House live streams and signing multiple records to the label imprint.

“I was working 8-hour shifts at a fast-food restaurant and doing nothing with my music,” Ranger said. “One day during a shift a co-worker I had never met before told me to go on my break and was wearing a Space Yacht mask. I took it as a sign and sent Space Yacht a playlist of some tunes. I ended up getting booked off of Tune Reactor on the spot for Tech My House and now have the honor of releasing this EP on their new label.”

Following TiffanyRanger Trucco will unveil his single “Sunday Best” in January via Space Yacht’s inaugural ‘Tech My House compilation,’ which will celebrate the collective’s six-year anniversary. Then in February, you can expect his standalone single, “Pretty Girls.”
