Splice: The Novelization by Claire Donner is out today!

We began our journey with Vincenzo Natali a little over two years ago. I randomly contacted Vincenzo on social media one day regarding the possibility of novelizing Splice (one of my all-time favorite Sci-Fi Horror films) and to my dismay he responded!

Today, Claire Donner’s brilliant novelization of Splice is available wherever books are sold. Take a journey inside Dren’s mind in a way the film could not. Expanded characterization and motivations compliment the film, enriching the experience.

SYNOPSIS:

Geneticists Clive Nicoli and Elsa Kast are on the verge of a revolutionary breakthrough when they are forced underground by a closed-minded world, fearful of tampering in God’s domain. Claire Donner is a Brooklyn-based critic and researcher with a focus on cult, horror, and psychotronic cinema. She has contributed essays to blu-ray releases from Severin Films, and presented films at various festivals. She has also written a novelization of the movie Splice for Encyclopocalypse Publications. As the Online Branch Director of The Miskatonic Institute of Horror Studies, she programs and hosts lectures by scholars and industry veterans to promote the genre and connect experts with fan communities.
