STOP THE PRESSES! Brooklyn Street Renamed “Lois Lane”.
In celebration of the upcoming release of Superman on July 11, St. Mark’s Comics and Industry City are proud to host a special street dedication and unveiling ceremony honoring one of Metropolis’ most iconic journalists (and Superman fan)— Lois Lane.
Taking place the morning of Tuesday, July 9 at 51 35th Street in Sunset Park, the ceremony will officially rename Innovation Alley as “Lois Lane“, transforming the heart of Industry City into a tribute to journalistic courage, comic book history, and superhero legacy.
The event will be part of a Super-celebration which will also feature a sale at St. Mark’s Comics and participation from other Industry City vendors.
“Lois Lane has evolved into a fearless reporter who always gets the story, no matter what. She has a tenacious dedication to uncovering the truth,” said Mitch Cutler, owner of St. Mark’s Comics. “We’re thrilled to bring that spirit to Brooklyn with this tribute, just in time for Superman’s return to the big screen.”
The dedication ceremony is open to the public, and attendees are encouraged to arrive early for a chance to be part of the celebration.
