SUMMER WALKER ANNOUNCES THIRD STUDIO ALBUM FINALLY OVER IT WITH EXCLUSIVE VOICEMAIL EXPERIENCE AND FIRST SINGLE “HEART OF A WOMAN”

Multi-platinum selling, chart-topping R&B sensation Summer Walker (LVRN/Interscope Records) has officially announced the title of her highly anticipated third studio album, Finally Over It. The lead single from the project, “Heart of a Woman”, is available for pre-save now. Pre-save the single HERE.

In the lead-up to the album announcement, Walker has been teasing fans with creative rollouts. Last week, she teased a new album title exclusively on Spotify Canvas and launched an interactive title generator, encouraging fans to guess the album name.

Via her Instagram, Walker released an emotionally charged teaser video, giving fans a raw glimpse into the themes of the new record. We see Summer in her bedroom, dressed in a night robe listening to voicemails from her phone. The messages reveal the unraveling of a complicated relationship with a mystery man, where we hear him say “Damn, you gotta do me like that? I was just helping my cousin with groceries. Hit me back when you can talk. I know you’re finally over it, but damn, let’s talk about it, I love you.” The tension climaxes when Summer, visibly moved, shatters the drink she’s holding, a powerful metaphor for closure and liberation. In her Instagram caption, she states “Finally Over It. Call me before I change my number 404-476-6404 & pre-save ‘Heart of a Woman’ now.”

With Finally Over It, Walker is expected to continue pushing boundaries, building on the success of her critically acclaimed sophomore effort, Still Over It, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and cemented her place as one of today’s leading voices in R&B.
