Well, there you have it, my process for writing a comic book script by example, not by theory. I’m not saying it’s the right way or the wrong way, but it’s a way to get a book written. It’s not a groundbreaking method by any means (if it’s a method at all), but it helps me write a comic book script. It helps me write any kind of script. And that’s the important thing; I’m writing books and throwing them into the world.
Understand, though, a writing process is one thing, but actually telling a story is a completely different thing. I’m just suggesting ways to help inspire a story within you and when you have that idea, write it by means of a process that will help you get it done. I’m not going to be so bold as to say that I can help you write a great story, but I will suggest a simple process that may help organize your thoughts so that you can complete a comic book script.
Processes and methods can be studied and learned, but telling a story is up to the writer to create and unleash upon the world.
