The Gaelic Culture is a Never-ending Source of Inspiration for the Entertainment World

People do not realise it, but the Gaelic culture is one of the most influential cultures of the so-called western world. There is something about the spirit of the Emerald Island that gives people of different backgrounds the inspiration they need in order to produce masterpieces. Having its roots in Ireland and having been enriched by neighbouring cultures, the Gaelic culture is something that appeals to people from every continent. This is why people always find a hint of Ireland wherever they are, regardless if they are based in Spain, Australia, Canada or the United States of America.

From movies and television series to video games and casino games such as the Gaelic Luck slot, the culture of the Irish creates a theme, which many people enjoy. Some like to see leprechauns and others like to hear the sound of the fiddle playing in the background, but in every case, the Gaelic culture triggers positivity and encourages people to enjoy the experience they are living. The only thing that changes is the scenery around you. Some find that joyous feeling at an Irish pub in Boston, others in the streets of Sligo and others on their phones and tablets while playing games of chance.

Becoming the Highlight of a Video Game

In the most recent Assassin’s Creed adventure released by Ubisoft, players travel from Norway to Britain in order to take part on an adventure based on the Vikings. The base game is amazing, but the DLC focusing on the Viking adventures on Irish soil is by far the best part of the AC Valhalla. In The Wrath of the Druids, Eivor; the game’s main hero, comes face to face with the Children of the Danu. Those that have played the whole game, will confirm that these Druids are the toughest opponent you will find while playing AC Valhalla. Apart from the realistic elements of the game, during the Wrath of the Druids, players will get to experience a little bit of the supernatural element surrounding Irish folklore. If you own AC Valhalla and you are thinking about buying the season pass, then you will definitely get a lot in terms of gaming value. The expansion focusing on the Druids will increase the gameplay duration by about 15 hours.

If you are a fan of the supernatural, then you should give The Boys from County Hell a try. The movie is about Abhartach; also known as the Irish Dracula. A group of friends manages to awaken a vampire, who then goes on a rampage terrorising Six Mile Hill. This comedy-horror hybrid is a European production, with a lot of American elements. It is a pretty fun movie to watch and it will definitely be enjoyed by teenagers and by young adults. Abhartach is the reason why the Bram Stoker version of Dracula became so popular. The writer got his inspiration while staying in the area where the movie’s story unfolds. The Boys from County Hell is a great opportunity for people to find out more about a creature of Irish folklore that somehow managed to be forgotten and replaced by the vampire version of the Romanian prince.
