What the Stars Mean (Young Justice Style)
Reviewing comics can be a tricky job. Â It is subjective to the reviewer and you have to remember there is a fan for every book, which kinda explains why some writers still have a job despite some lacklustre book. (You know who I am talking about…. feel free to comment your guesses).
Generally reviewers use stars, mainly because it’s easy to know what 5 stars or 1 star means. To break it down, I thought I would let you know how I use the stars. Please note, this is just how I use them; other reviewers may (and probably do), use them differently. Ready?
5 Stars – Feeling the Aster
4 Stars – Crashed Mode
3 Stars – Whelmed
2 Stars – Feeling the Mode
1 Star – Disaster
Author Profile
- I am a long time comic book fan, being first introduced to Batman in the mid to late 70's. This led to a appreciation of classic artists like Neal Adams and Jim Aparo. Moving through the decades that followed, I have a working knowledge of a huge raft of characters with a fondness for old school characters like JSA and The Shadow
Currently reading a slew of Bat Books, enjoying a mini Marvel revival, and the host of The Definative Crusade and Outside the Panels whilst also appearing on No-Prize Podcast on the Undercover Capes Podcast Network
