WHO: Six women scientists and engineers from the groundbreaking IF/THEN® Initiative
WHAT: Six female scientists from the groundbreaking IF/THEN® Initiative will participate in a panel entitled STEAM Superstars. The panel hopes to inspire children to embrace STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) careers, among other activities, at San Diego Comic-Con Special Edition on Saturday, November 27, 2021. Each panelist will take part in a mini fashion show where they will show off how they dress in their everyday careers with a superhero twist. They will then discuss their career paths and how they incorporate art and other unconventional methods to teach and communicate science. There will be surprises given to attendees after the event.
