This is a brain child of Darren Close (best known for Killeroo) and others to support the bushfires that ravaged Australia. Australia Burns is an anthology book of art and stories in tribute to the heroic firefighters and volunteers who have sacrificed everything to prevent ongoing devastation.
The creative team of writers and artists are some of the most talented you will find in this country, and several of the stories are written by real-life firefighters, giving a valuable insight into just what it’s like on the frontlines.
This book will be 80-100 pages in size, full colour, and thanks to the generous sponsorship of Jeffries Printing - all proceeds from sales will be donated to the following charities:
- Country Fire Authority (CFA)
- Rural Fire Service (RFS)
- Wild2Free Wildlife Rescue
- Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park
- South Australian Veterinary Emergency Management (SAVEM)
- Shoeboxes of Love
The exciting anthology collection will go live in mid-February 2020 and will be officially launched at SupanovaMelbourne VIC on 6th to 8th March, do youself a favour and check it out!
