Hip-Hop JRPG Orangeblood Drops on Jan. 14!

Randomized Guns Drop on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One Q2 2020
Orangeblood, a JRPG inspired by 90s hip-hop, will take over PC on Jan. 14, 2019. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One releases will roll up on 20-inch rims in Q2 2020.
Publisher PLAYISM and developer Grayfax Software invite gangstas to an alternate history of late 20th century Japan where criminal syndicates rule the man-made island of New Koza. Guide Vanilla, a prisoner of a gang war offered her freedom in exchange for completing a top-secret mission shrouded in mystery. Vanilla will build a crew of tenacious-yet-cute companions to help earn her liberty, and mayhem as well as sweet loot drops ensue.
Loot the best randomly generated guns and armor-boosting kicks a criminal can find, including legendary equipment featuring one-of-a-kind abilities. Take the “pray”“ out of “spray,”“ reloading tactically to keep your defenses up and using special abilities to mow down foes. New Koza is full of mobsters, robots, and other threats, but a quick stop at a vending machine will refresh your party before the next gun-blazing battle.
Groove along to the hip-hop soundtrack in and out of combat. Handcrafted character sprites feature a pixelated aesthetic matching the era of the music. Jump into gun-toting action that stays fresh as the random gear system, art style, and soundtrack play off of each other.
“I wanted to make an immersive story with g-funk tunes where the only things that matter are your guns, sweet shoes, and the good times you have with them,”“ said Grayfax, sole developer of Orangeblood. “Randomly generated gear means each encounter can be just as unpredictable as the island of New Koza itself, but the good times will be guaranteed.”“
Orangeblood will be available on Steam in Japanese, English and Simplified Chinese for $19.99 USD/€19.99.
