Level 99 Games has teamed up with Motion Twin to bring the Beheaded””the iconic character from Motion Twin“s hit game Dead Cells””to Exceed!

Dead Cells is a smash hit arcade-style platforming game released in 2018 by Motion Twin. After its debut on Steam, the game has gone on to become a sensation on the Nintendo Switch. As the Beheaded, adventure through an ever-changing castle of monstrous foes as you endeavor to solve the mystery of your own death and the mysterious illness that plagues the kingdom.

Exceed brings to the tabletop a robust system of dueling card play reminiscent of action-packed, fast-paced fighting video games. Each fighter in Exceed comes complete and ready-to-play””players do not need to collect or trade to complete their decks. The game is easy to jump into casually, but deep enough to play again and again. The series has already featured well-known fighters from the cult classic video game Street Fighter, as well as crossovers with such diverse brands as Shovel Knight and Penny Arcade“s Automata. Level 99 Games is excited to welcome the Beheaded into the roster as well, bringing another smash Indie hit into the growing roster of fighters!

This fighter has a particularly flexible playstyle that can adapt to any match-up. He chooses his upgrades based on his opponent, and tailors his strategy for maximum damage. If the Beheaded is able to achieve all of his desired upgrades, he becomes an unstoppable monster. Â

The Beheaded will be available as a web-store and convention exclusive, retailing at $11.95 in Level 99 Games“ store. The product features just a single fighter.
