Neowiz to Publish 'Metal Unit' Globally in 2020

The Pixel-Perfect Action Platformer arrives early next year

NEOWIZÂ has reached an agreement with JellySnow Studio to publish ”˜Metal Unit“, a 2D action-adventure game currently in development.

Metal Unit is a story-driven side-scroller with a wide range of melee and ranged weapons that give players the flexibility to play any style they want. The game also has a rogue-like feature in that you lose all of your equipment and items if you die, but you“ll be able to use any experience points you rack up to purchase other items or skills.

The game also features an immersive atmosphere centering around the main character, Joanna, and her mission to get revenge on her traitorous sister who took up arms with alien invaders. On this journey, Joanna will take on enemy alien machines and all the while learn the truth about the world they live in.

Metal Unit is set to be released for Early Access on Steam in early 2020 and on other platforms shortly thereafter. There will also be a ”˜Beta Test for Creators“ that will start one month in advance of that. As such, NEOWIZ will begin accepting applications to participate in the Beta Test starting on December 20th. Anyone interested can apply on the game“s Steam page and will be notified via email if chosen to participate. Those chosen will also be able to play the Early Access version of the game when that is released.
