NEW PATHFINDER AND STARFINDER LIVE-PLAY GAMES PREMIERE THIS WEEK ON PAIZOâ€™S TWITCH

Starfinder: X.T.R.E.M.! and Pathfinder: Band of Bravos begin Wednesday and Friday at 2 p.m. Pacific @officialpaizo on Twitch.

Paizo will combine some of the best in virtual tabletop, audio, and soundtrack technology to broadcast two new live roleplaying game shows,Â Pathfinder: Band of BravosÂ andÂ Starfinder: X.T.R.E.M.!, onÂ twitch.tv/officialpaizo””all while working from home! Show recordings will be uploaded one week later to Paizo’s Youtube channel atÂ youtube.com/Paizoinc.

First,Â Starfinder: X.T.R.E.M.!Â follows the antics of the Pact Worlds-based amateur wrestling league, XenoTrouble wRestling Entertainment Matches (created specifically for this game!). Hence the name of the stream: X.T.R.E.M.!

Playing in the game will be John Compton, Starfinder Senior Developer; Payton Smith, Social Media Producer; Jason Tondro, Starfinder Developer; and Andrew White, Front-End Engineering Lead. They each will be playing a character moonlighting as an amateur wrestler. Amanda Hamon, Starfinder Managing Developer and co-creator, will be the Game Master. It will stream live on Wednesday, April 8 from 2 to 5 p.m. Pacific and will continue at that time every Wednesday.

Then, inÂ Pathfinder: Band of Bravos, a troupe of performing adventurers find themselves hired to put on the show of a lifetime, but when the curtain rises, they quickly learn that they are the stars of a far more dangerous quest.

The cast will include Paizo employees Jason Keeley, Developer; Maryssa Lagervall, Web Content Manager; Payton Smith, Social Media Producer; and James Jacobs, Creative Director as players. Jason Bulmahn, Paizo“s Director of Game Design and leader of the Pathfinder Second Edition team, will be the Game Master.Â Pathfinder: Band of BravosÂ will stream live on Friday, April 10 from 2 to 5 p.m. Pacific and will continue at that time every Friday.

Paizo will unite services from three of its licensed partners””Roll20, Discord, and Syrinscape to tell these exciting adventures and bring them to vivid life. Roll20 enables gamers to unite across any distance via easy-to-use gaming tools. Discord is an easy way to communicate over voice, video, and text. Syrinscape is a revolutionary sound design app that adds evocative, immersive, ambient background sound and a movie-like soundtrack to tabletop RPGs.
