Puppet Master Tabletop Game Live on GameFound!

Just in time for Halloween, Dynamite Entertainment is excited to fully debut Charles Band’s Puppet Master: Return to Bodega Bay Inn The Board Game. This thrilling tabletop adventure for multiple players that captures a wide scope of the beloved horror franchise is available for fans to preorder starting now through the platform Gamefound!

Developed with creator and filmmaker Charles Band overseeing each step alongside designer Jay Spence, this cooperative, cat-and-mouse style survival game is a blast for one to four players. Most sessions should take 30 to 40 minutes of game time. With key gameplay features including hand management and deck hunting, players will navigate the claustrophobic and chaotic adventure. With a modular board design, each and every game session is a different experience, as players explore the Bodega Bay Inn and try to steer clear of the vicious, reanimated puppets. Each puppet also has their own unique personality, and their strategy is dictated by a behavior dial feature. It’s a race between these two forces, as the puppets chase after key items and unwilling victims to resurrect their master’s soul, while players collect information, manage locked doors, and manage their dwindling decks of cards to thwart the evil!

The base game comes complete with five stunningly detailed miniatures, that players can paint to their liking. All the modular pieces of the board, player and door icons, dice, and the evolving puppet behavior “A.I.” system dial are also included.

For fans looking to upgrade their experience from day one, the Puppet Master: Trial by Fire Expansion Set ups the ante with two additional puppet figures and enables a fifth player to join in the game, in addition to its other inclusions.

Existing diehard fans of the horror classic franchise will recognize the five included puppets as Blade, Jester, Pinhead, Leech Woman, and Tunneler. Then the expansion adds on the fan-favorites Torch and Six-Shooter.

This thrill ride of a board game follows Dynamite’s collaboration with Charles Band and the Full Moon team on a preceding Puppet Master trading cards set to celebrate the franchise’s 35th anniversary. Horror fiends can now dig into the next phase of this continuing partnership between two icons of horror, in film and in comics, games, and collectibles, respectively.

For nearly 3,000 fans who signed up for updates ahead of the full campaign launch, back to when it was teased during Gamefound’s annual Feast promotion of upcoming games from across the industry, their extra wooden “first player” trunk marker will be included alongside their preorder at no extra cost!
