Solomon Kane Returns to Cabinet Entertainment After a Fantastic Decade with Savage Worlds

There are two roads to Torkertown.

Those words begin Robert E Howard’s tales of Solomon Kane, a world we’re proud to have explored with Cabinet Entertainment for nearly a decade.

Now it’s time for each company to walk different paths and concentrate on their own properties. As of December 31st, 2019, the license for Solomon Kane will revert back to Cabinet. All sales, both electronic and print, will cease.

On Tuesday, July 2nd, Pinnacle will publish a short conversion document for The Savage World of Solomon Kane, bringing the 2012 publication up to date with the more recent Savage Worlds Adventure Edition rules. Pinnacle is also conducting a sale on its remaining print stock of The Savage World of Solomon Kane, The Path of Kane, Foes of Kane, and the Traveler’s Tales adventure collection.

Pinnacle’s president, Shane Hensley, noted: “I’m incredibly proud of the work our team did on Solomon Kane, one of my favorite characters and series of all time. I just recently finished re-reading the tales for the 11th time, and am just as enthused as I’ve ever been about Howard’s incredible creation. We got to walk the Path of Kane for a decade, and now it’s time for us to concentrate on our own properties, such as Deadlands. It’s also time for our wonderful friends at Cabinet to give others a chance to explore Kane’s world.”

Joakim Zetterberg of Cabinet added: “The Savage World of Solomon Kane has had a long, successful run with Pinnacle, to the despair of many a desperate villain or undead thing crossing paths with Solomon Kane. We wish Shane and Pinnacle the best and thank them for a decade of Savage adventures.
