KICKSTARTER ALERT: Supercats on Kickstarter for 17 Days!

Supercats is part children’s board book and part comic book. Big or small, orange or grey, supercats will save the day!

Supercats is running a 17-day Kickstarter which ends on July 31, 2019. There are plenty amazing and spectacular super-rewards available during the campaign including: sticker sheets,Â exclusive poster prints, t-shirts, and extremely limited edition pixel-art magnets.

SYNOPSIS:

Mewow is a hero protecting her fellow animal friends. Ohno is a very small, damaged, and tailless cat who wants nothing more than to be just like her. One day, Mewow is captured by the evil dog-villian Gruffigus. Now is the chance for Ohno to prove he can be a Supercat too.

Why a Children’s Book?

I have been making comics for the past 3 years now, and they have all been dark stories targeted at a teen to adult audience. 2 years ago I became a parent. I’m now a full-time father and comic creator, but now that I have a son to care for every day, I wanted to create something I can read with him; something he and I can both enjoy together.

Supercats is a story based on characters I created while playing with stuffed animal cats with my son. It’s mainly just silly and fun, but I hope it’s something everyone can enjoy. This series will evolve with my son. I am currently planning to create a series of 3 board books that increase in reading difficulty. After these books are complete, Supercats will evolve into an all ages comic!

Hopefully fans and young readers will love these characters as much as we do and want to read, grow, and learn along with us.

Something for EveryoneÂ

I wrote this story hoping it would be become something different. I’m certain anyone and everyone will find something to fall in love with this silly, beautiful book. Although it’s simple and created for children just learning to read, the gorgeous art and whimsical tone is sure to capture the heart of anyone who reads it.
