McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Harley Quinn: Classic Action Figure Review

Back by popular demand, and flu free, I return to the Toyverse today to talk about the McFarlane Toys DC Multiverse Harley Quinn: Classic Action Figure. This figure is a really cool addition to the DC Multiverse, and overall, I dig the execution. So let’s dive into it, and see why Harley is no joke.

The Design:

So in regards to look,Harley features her debut look that most people are aware of. The black and red scheme is crisp and clean, and the overall design looks great in action figure form. The jester look is a great design choice, and the jester collar is a beautiful sculpted peace. Her head is nice too. It has an animated series design to it, but it will work in an comic display. The eyes are painted great, and the closed smile is subtle, yet effective. The hands are great as well, and the fluffy wrists look great as well. Her arms feature diamonds in different colors of red and black that came out clean as well. Overall, this figure has the look of Harley Quinn that any fan will enjoy.

Articulation:

In terms of articulation, this figure performs great at the price point. It has a neck ball peg that allows it to flow in a natural way. You can turn it side to side, and have it go up and down. With the head, you can convey lots of attitude and not have it wonky. The upper and lower body flow great too. She can bend down, side to side, and turn. The articulation in this area works flawlessly, and I love it. The arms are double jointed and have the butterfly joint that work really well. The legs do go out and she can kick forwards and back a good amount as well. The knees are double jointed, and she has great ball pegs are both the hands and feet. And if that wasn’t enough her feet can rock side to side and have toe hinges. So overall, at 20 bucks, this figure works great.

Accessories:

Now in terms of accessories Harley Quinn comes packed with some great bonus items. First you have her mallet. It has a beautiful sculpt, and the wood grain look is just phenomenal. It features a smiley face, and a bullseye on each side which is cool. The wrap on the hammer came out great as well. Also included is a giant handgun with a bang flag coming out of it. The flag with the bang on it is clean and looks great. My only complaint is I wish the flag was removable, but it’s not a deal breaker. Also included is a cool trading card, and a DC action figure stand.

Final Thoughts:

This Harley Quinn figure is a great example of what McFarlane Toys can do with an action figure. The sculpt came out top notch, the articulation is on point, and the accessories are right in line with the character. At twenty bucks, you can’t beat what you get inside. She looks great with other DC characters, and is a solid release. If you can, snag it up.
