NYCC: Z2 TO ANNOUNCE PROJECT WITH JASON AARON, SKILLET SIGNING AND MORE!

Publisher Brings Music and Graphic Novels Together On and Off the Show Floor of Pop Culture Spectacle 

The New York based publisher continues to ramp up its publishing lineup, with huge names from music in comics in attendance to announce future projects throughout the weekend!

On Friday afternoon, Forbidden Planet will host the members of Skillet, who will sign their first-ever graphic novel, EDEN: A Skillet Graphic Novel from 4-6pm. This rare opportunity to meet the band is open to all Skillet fans, with or without a New York Comic Con badge. The band will not be making an appearance on the show floors, so don“t miss your chance to get your Skillet graphic novel signed! RSVP to the event here.

Fans can catch the band beforehand on the SyFy Wire Live Stage, for an exclusive interview with lead singer and graphic novel co-writer, John Cooper, alongside his bandmates, who all appear as characters in the graphic novel. Next up, on Saturday morning, Eisner nominated comics writer Jason Aaron (Conan The Barbarian, The Mighty THOR, Scalped, Southern Bastards) will appear on the SyFy Wire Live Stage to announce his upcoming Z2 debut! Catch him for a full thirty-minute interview discussing this and other projects at 11:15 a.m.

That evening, Jason Aaron will join an all-star cast of creators for the official Z2 panel, alongside Z2“s Josh Frankel and Sridhar Reddy, writer Ryan Cady (Genesis One: A Poppy Graphic Novel), Chris Miskiwiecz and Noah Van Sciver (Grateful Dead Origins). Full details can be found below:
