Plan 9 from Outer Space conquers Earth as a new Novelization released for creator Edward D. Wood, Jr.’s 100th birthday!
IN 1957, Ed Wood gathered a cast made up of the once-famous, the once-living, and the altogether unknown. Dime-store flying saucers invaded a surreal patchwork of small sets, found props, and stock footage. The remarkable results did not see a general release until two years later, when Plan 9 from Outer Space finally made it into theaters.
From the aliens pontificating in their carhop uniforms to the cemetery sporting ankle-high, balsa wood headstones, Wood’s masterwork continues to capture the attention of film creators and fans on every continent.
Now, in 2024, Encyclopocalypse Publications maintains their commitment to preserving cinematic genre history through novelizations with their release of PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE: THE NOVELIZATION on October 10th, 2024. On that day, Edward D. Wood Jr. would have been 100 years old!
Author Bret Nelson (Manborg, The Part Mart) has penned the startling NEW adaptation. Facts…shocking never-before-revealed facts include:

Artist Zack Morrissette lent his talents to create new artwork for the Trade edition, with the original one sheet for PLAN 9 being used for the Retro Mass Market version.
