WK Entertainment Launches New Division- Korporation Films

WK Entertainment CEO and mastermind Walter Kolm, one of Latin music’s most prominent managers, launches new company division, Korporation Films, offering a wide range of entertainment and media services, incorporating music, film, TV, and innovative content. The new division will be run by WK Entertainment’s Head of Music and WK Records label head, Horacio Rodriguez and newly appointed Vice President of Korporation, Anita Tillero, who also serves as Creative Director for WK Entertainment and Records, respectively. Additionally, the company simultaneously debuts a bi-weekly podcast series “The Kreator Behind,” hosted by Tillero. More from Variety HERE.

On the expansion, Kolm said, “Korporation Films is the next natural step for WK Entertainment and WK Records. We’ve continuously worked to expand our reach as a company into additional content verticals, and with the launch of Korporation Films, we’re diversifying our portfolio by producing our own music videos, launching an industry podcast, and more to be announced in the near future.”

Rodriguez added, “We’ve appointed one of our own as Vice President of Korporation, Anita Tillero. Over the past several years at WK, she has tirelessly worked to rise within the company, most recently being named the Creative Director behind WK Entertainment and WK Records. In her new role, she will be overseeing and managing various aspects of the company’s operations, as well as providing strategic direction to help the company achieve its goals.”

“The Kreator Behind” brings together a community of diversified members of the entertainment community, for open and honest conversations. The goal of the podcast is creating a platform to showcase the unique personalities and human qualities of each of the masterminds behind the brilliance of the most successful and global projects in the industry. The first season, which premieres tomorrow, March 23rd, starts with an exclusive one-on-one interview with CNCO member, Zabdiel de Jesus. The bi-weekly show is set to have a 10-episode first season, with additional guests including Despierta America’s Vice President & Executive Producer, Luz María Doria, as well as renowned Venezuelan director and writer, Nuno Gomez, among others. Being the face of the podcast, Tillero will embark on a new kind of journey, having authentic conversations with peers, breaking down and dissecting the impressive rolls of each guest.

Lastly, Tillero stated, “It’s a privilege to be appointed VP of Korporation Films. There is nothing more rewarding than doing what you love and seeing your hard work pay off. I’m excited for this new chapter and doing it alongside my mentors makes it that much more special.”

Korporation Films has already seen the fruits of its work with the direction and production of various music videos including: “Luces” by Fuego, Polima Westcoast and Roy Woods, “Extraños” by Gera Demara and CNCO, and “Teikirisi” by Ely Blancarte, among others.
