About Podfest

Podfest was founded in 2015 with just over 100 attendees. In 2016 Podfest had 181 attendees. In an effort to grow the medium of podcasting, Chris Krimitsos the founder of the conference took all profits and commissioned director Niel Guilarte to create the 1st official documentary of the medium called The Messengers: A Podcast Documentary!  In 2017 Podfest Moved to Orlando and went International with 373 Attendees. Over the next few years Podfest grew to 496 in 2018 and 975 in 2019. Currently Podfest is experiencing the highest growth spurt on record with over 2000+ Attendees in 2020 hosted at the world’s largest Marriott! Marriott World Center in Orlando.

Growth has been attributed to a very strong word of mouth and Exhibitors and attendees alike  coming back year after year.
