IN HELL follows six youth as they awaken within an unfamiliar, surreal landscape… Emerging from the very elements as grotesque blobs of flesh, they quickly conform to the shapes of six archetypes you, dearest reader, Johnny, Barbie, Dexter, Arthur, Willow and Christine.
These six teens, their memories jumbled and hazy are then informed by a booming, ominous voice in the sky; they are dead and condemned to an eternity IN HELL, a revelation which spurs them on to conflict.
Thus begins a grand adventure, in which our heroes will discover terrifying wonders and wonderful terrors. Fantastic powers will awaken in them. They will remember and develop deep bonds of friendship and love. IN HELL they will blossom into LORDS. A story to showcase the majesty of the human, set in a maddening, Lovecraftian dreamscape, a space at the end of all time.
A graphic novel aimed at people that want more out of their graphic novels, aspiring to bridge the world of horror/fantasy with the density and complexity of “contemporary art”. Filled to the brim with layered thought and challenging, puzzle-like compositions ready to reward the active, inquisitive reader with grand revelations.
