REVIEW: Worldtr33 #2
Worldtr33 issue two is here as one of the most exciting new titles in comics. If you missed issue one and you love a horror-thriller comic book, you better jump on this one. Issue one definitely pushes the envelope with a story that is shocking and intriguing at the same time. As you work through the issue you cannot believe what you are seeing yet you cannot turn away. It is like a car crash, you don’t want to look but you cannot help yourself. The way issue one ends will blow your mind.
Issue two starts off a little more slowly, at least at first, as Fausta enters the house of Gibson Lane. As she walks the home that is now closed off from the public, she searches for clues into what caused Gibson to do what he did to his neighbors. The way that this issue ends only leaves more questions.
Written by James Tynion, an award winning writer for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Boom Studios with one of the most popular titles in comics, Something is Killing the Children and House of Slaughter, Image Comics with The Department of Truth, and much more. James and his co-creators have been on fire with titles that grab you as a reader.
The art is done by Fernando Blanco best known for his work with DC Comics on titles like Batman, Detective Comics, Catwoman, to name a few. Worldtr33 is a beautiful display of talent by Fernando.
If you are looking for a story that will shock you, intrigue you, scare you, and cause you to wonder days after reading an issue of what’s next, Worldtr33 is the perfect title for you.
